The invention discloses a chinese medicine composition to be taken orally for chronic superficial gastritis, aim mainly at partial thermal patients of chronic superficial gastritis, belonging to Chinese medicine domain. The bulk drugs as effective constituents of the said Chinese medicine composition comprises 12 parts by weight of bamboo shavings, 30 parts by weight of common reed rhizome, 15 parts by weight of taraxacum, 10 parts by weight of citrus aurtantium, 10 parts by weight of dendrobium stem, 15 parts by weight of lilyturf root, 6 parts by weight of mint, 12 parts by weight of white peony root, 6 parts by weight of glycyrrhiza, 10 parts by weight of chinese yarn, 15 parts by weight of radix codonopsis pilosulae, and 8 parts by weight of tangerine peel. The composition is decocted in water for oral dose, one dose daily, two times with lukewarm water, five doses weekly. The above bulk drugs are assembled to obtain synergitic reaction. Through the clinical test, the total efficacy is 95.4%. The clinical symptom is quickly improved after drug use in general patients for 7-15 days. The patient can recovery after 2-3 periods of treatment.
