Abstract

The method includes steps: CNU device obtains data needed to send to CLT device down going devices; CNU device adds the data to Report frame and sends the data to CLT device. The method also includes steps: CLT device obtains data needed to send to CNU device from up layer of network; CLT device adds the data to Gate frame, and sends the data to CNU device. The invention also discloses CNU device and CLT device in use for data transmission in coaxial Ethernet. In the method, service data and control information carries by Report frame and Gate frame interacted between CNU device and CLT device so as to take full advantage of outband data existed in Report frame and Gate frame possibly. The invention raises efficiency for transferring data in coaxial Ethernet as well as saves bandwidth.
