The operation method comprises the following steps: 1) signal gathering stage, 2) signal deforming and changing stage, 3) timely sampling time counter setting stage, 4) electric net instantaneous parameter calculating stage, 5) current condition detecting stage, 6) the center data process module judges and controls a relay protection device breaking stage. The beneficial effect of the invention is characterized by utilizing digital signal process chip to realize relay protection movement control, improving relay protection reliability and rapidness, overcoming control lag and movement and non-timely defect induced by programmable logic control technique and common single-set chip process speed limit, having good adjustability and reliability and reducing the probability of production halt due to relay protection false operation or rejection.
