Abstract

The invention discloses a generating method for a media access control (MAC) protocol, comprising: preprocessing step to determine a basic access mechanism, to set multiple extension functions according to user needs, and to select configurable parameters for each extension function; and generating step to determine the content is the extension functions corresponding to the configurable parameters of preset data, when a user configures the configurable parameters according to an objective MAC protocol, to load code and decode the selected expansion functions and the basic access mechanism, thus generating the objective MAC protocol. The invention also discloses a device for implementing the method, an inter-node communication method and a wireless multi-hop network. The embodiment of theinvention solves the problems of non-generality and compatibility of the prior art, which are caused by the close coupling of a protocol and user needs.
