Abstract

The invention discloses a sedative medicine used for treating toothache and clearing away the fire, which is characterized by comprising the following medicinal components with the following weight portions: 15-30 portions of Chinese rhubarb, 30-65 portions of gypsum, 35-70 portions of Chinese paris rhizome, 10-35 portions of red peony root, 10-30 portions of cape jasmine (fried), 20-45 portions of figwort root, 40-75 portions of wolfberry bark, 10-35 portions of white peony root, 5-20 portions of dark plum, 10-30 portions of dahurian angelica root and 5-15 portions of asarum herb. The efficacies of various medicinal components produce synergistic effect, thus effectively addressing the secondary symptoms and origin of the toothache. The sedative medicine has the efficacies of heat-clearing and fire-purging, reducing swelling and easing pain, and the like. The toothache medicine is fit for relieving symptoms caused by stomach fire such as toothache, red and swollen gums, and the like with high cure rate and small relapse rate.
