Abstract

The invention discloses an extrusion forming process of a hub forging splined hole, comprising the following steps: 1, a bar blank is forged into an aporate and solid pre-forging; 2, the hub forging splined hole is punched and extruded from the aporate and solid forging in a punching way and the contour of the hub is punched and extruded from the pre-forging. Therefore the hub, the size of which accords with the requirement is molded. The steps for punching and extruding the splined hole can be finished by a special die which is designed by the invention by a press. The extrusion forming process of the hub forging splined hole has the advantages of simple process, good quality of processed products, high processing efficiency and material saving performance. The special extrusion die has the advantages of simple structure and high processing precision. The extrusion forming process is applied to the processing of automobile hubs, especially the processing of hubs of compact cars.
