Abstract

The invention discloses a sweet potato aeroponics cultivation method. The method comprises the following steps: erecting a net rack on the upper part of a cultivation groove, and mounting a spray head which is controlled by an automatic periodical spraying device on the lower part of the cultivation groove; covering the net rack with a plant fixing plate which is provided with plant fixing holes; inserting sweet potato plants into the plant fixing holes and fixing the plants; employing the net rack to support upper parts of root systems of the plants, and remaining lower parts of the root systems hung in the air in the cultivation groove; spraying an atomized nutrient solution over the root systems by the spray head periodically to provide nutrient substances and water for growth of the sweet potato. In the aeroponics cultivation method, growth factors such as temperature, light, water, air, fertilizer and the like can be controlled manually to an optimum state to ensure moist state of the root systems and acquire adequate oxygen, which causes full growth of vegetative mass of the sweet potato, high yield of the sweet potato, continuous production and greatly improved yield.
