Abstract

The invention relates to a calling system of a taxi, which consists of a taxi communication terminal (1) with a GPS positioning instrument, an information transceiver (2), a positioning system (4), a computer (5) and a GPS communication device (6). When a client telephones the information transceiver, the transceiver utilizes the positioning system to position the telephone of the client; and the computer searches a nearest idle load taxi close to the client, sends the azimuth information and telephone number of the client to the taxi communication terminal, and sends the license plate number of the taxi and the telephone number of a driver to the client. Therefore, the calling system of the taxi achieves information intercommunication between the taxi driver and the client, is convenient for the client, improves the working efficiency of the taxi, reduces the idle driving ratio of the taxi, and reduces energy consumption.
