Abstract

The present invention provides a pixel circuit, an active matrix organic light-emitting diode display and a drive method, wherein the pixel circuit includes an organic light-emitting diode, a storagecapacitance, a drive transistor and first to fourth switch transistors. The drive transistor is used to generate a pixel current based on a quantity of electric charge stored in the storage capacitance so as to drive the organic light-emitting diode to generate a corresponding brightness; turn-on/off states of the first to fourth switch transistors are controlled by an identical scanning signal, by means of electrical coupling relations of the first to fourth switch transistors, the pixel current and power supply voltage across the organic light-emitting diode are independent of a critical voltage of the drive transistor and an increase of straddling voltage of the organic light-emitting diode is improved along with an operation of the organic light-emitting diode for a long time. The invention also provides the active matrix organic light-emitting diode display employing the pixel circuit and the drive method for the pixel circuit.
