Abstract

The invention relates to a sample processing method for observing nuclear silver-indium-cadmium control rod metallographic structure. The method is characterized in that the processing method comprises the following steps: (1) processing a sample observer to produce an observation plane; and (2) grinding the plane with a metallographic grinder, then polishing with a polisher; (3) mixing a reagentcontaining K2Cr2O7 saturated solution, H2SO4 and NaCl saturated solution with H2O, wiping the plane with the mixed solution to corrode the observation plane, then wiping the observation plane by using NaOH solution to remove white precipitation film generated by the corrasion process and finally observing the nuclear silver-indium-cadmium control rod metallographic structure.
