The invention relates to an environment-friendly size used for 16 count all cotton yarn, which is formed by blending the components in the following weight ratio: 60-70 parts of starch, 5-10 parts ofpolyvinyl alcohol (PVA)-800, 1-5 parts of polymethyl acrylate, 10-20 parts of LY-8, and 1-4 parts of wax sheet. The environment-friendly size used for 16 count all cotton yarn in the invention has good abrasion resistance of warps, good ductility of chorion, reduces dosage of PVA-800 in comparison with traditional size, adds polymethyl acrylate as a substitute, has low pollutant content in size waste water, and cannot damage the environment, thus being environment-friendly.
