Embodiment Construction

[0018] figure 1 The zeolite adsorption dryer 1 used for mild low-temperature drying treatment is shown. The dryer 1 includes a first upper receiving chamber 2 for receiving a fabric 3; and a second lower receiving chamber 3 for receiving a desiccant 5. In this embodiment, the desiccant is a zeolite-based desiccant . The two receiving chambers 2, 4 are connected by a connecting channel 6, wherein the connecting channel is fixed to the upper receiving chamber 2 by a grid 7. Each receiving chamber 2, 4 is configured, for example, with an appropriate seal on the corresponding door 10 so that the chamber can efficiently maintain the vacuum generated in the chamber by the vacuum pump 8. An infrared radiator 9 is installed on the cover of the upper receiving chamber 2 for heating the fabric 3. The infrared radiator 9 is controlled by means of a controller (not shown), for example, within a system of a predetermined program sequence.

Abstract

The invention relates to a dryer device having at least one receiving chamber for receiving textiles and drying agents, comprising a vacuum pump for creating a vacuum in the at least one receiving chamber. A drying method comprises introducing textiles and drying agents, particularly based on zeolite, into at least one receiving chamber, followed by a vacuum being created in the at least one receiving chamber.

Description

Technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a drying device including at least one receiving chamber for receiving fabric and desiccant, and to a corresponding method. Background technique [0002] In order to prevent shrinkage when drying woolen or silk fabrics in a condensing dryer or an exhaust dryer, these fabrics must not be rotated randomly during the drying process because the movement causes these fabrics to shrink. In addition, the temperature experienced by the fabric is usually higher in a conventional dryer. [0003] Baskets are known to avoid the movement of sensitive textile materials in conventional tumble dryers, the baskets are fixed in the interior of the drum of the conventional tumble dryers, and the fabric is placed on the baskets. When using such baskets, the drying time is usually very long and energy consumption is high. [0004] Patent publication DE 2626887A1 discloses a drum dryer in which heated air is guided to the laundry via a fan and a he...
