Abstract

The invention discloses a hydraulic stop structure of a shock absorber, for using damping force generated by oil pressure to prevent the collision of piston valve at the far-end of the piston-rod and the piston-rod guiding element at the upper end of the shock absorber. The shock absorber includes a cylinder, a piston valve and a piston-rod. The hydraulic stop includes a piston-rod guiding element whose interior diameter is smaller than that of the cylinder; a stop piece arranged on the outer peripheral of the piston-rod in order to be assembled in the piston-rod guiding element; and a ring element arranged outside the stop piece. The external diameter of the ring element is smaller than or equal to the interior diameter of the piston-rod guiding element, to permit the increase of the internal pressure of the piston-rod guiding element when the stop piece moves in the piston-rod guiding element.
