The invention discloses a device for regulating and controlling the water content of the production fluid of an underground layering of an oil field, which comprises a main control assembly, a slide bushing switch and a water content tester, wherein the slide bushing switch is arranged in the main control assembly, and the water content tester is connected with the main control assembly and is used for testing the water content of an oil-water mixture; the main control assembly is used for controlling the opening and the closing of the slide bushing switch according to a test result of the water content; when the condition that the water content is higher than a set value is judged, the slide bushing switch is closed so as to prohibit the pass of the oil-water mixture; and when the condition that the water content is lower than the set value is judged, the slide bushing switch is opened so as to permit the pass of the oil-water mixture. By connecting the device provided by the invention in a layered oil recovery pipe column in series and delivering the device to an underground oil layer, the water content tester can automatically detect the water content of the oil-water mixture.
