The method comprises the following steps of: I. surveying water quality and biological resources in early stage; II. carrying out environment ecology engineering and relevant foundation building of the lakes: building dams and water supply and drainage works, and building necessary artificial islands; III. establishing a biomass data model and determining the putting quantity and the optimal harvesting yield of the Chinese soft-shelled turtles; IV, artificially putting biologicalbaits; and V. planting emergent aquatic plants, such as lotus roots and the like, around the lakes.
