Problems solved by technology

However, in the case of citing the structure of the flexible planar cable described in Reference 2, since the impedance influenced by the combination of resistance (R) inductance (L) and capacitance (C) is simply controlled in terms of capacitance, there is a problem is that factors related to magnetic field characteristics such as inductance are not considered

Embodiment Construction

[0024] In order to achieve the above objects, the present invention provides a flexible planar cable for LVDS capable of improving transmittability of transmission signals and reducing EMI by forming a layer of composite magnetoresistor made of magnetic powder inside the cable.

[0025] Hereinafter, exemplary embodiments of a flexible planar cable for LVDS according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0026] figure 1 is a cross-sectional view of the structure of a flexible planar cable commonly used in the related art. Such as figure 1 As shown, the flexible planar cable for LVDS according to the related art is manufactured by bonding a polyester-based insulating film having heat resistance to upper and lower portions of a conductor 1 . The conductor 1 is a medium for transmitting electrical signals and is manufactured by bonding the lower part of the lower insulator 3 to a metal shielding material 5 such as alu...

Abstract

The present invention relates to a flexible flat cable (FFC) for voltage differential signaling (LVDS) in various digital household appliances, which is suitable for transmitting mass data in a narrow space. More particularly, the invention relates to the flexible flat cable (FFC) which effectively reduces the low voltage differential signaling of electromagnetic interference generated in the signal transmission process. The flexible flat cable for reducing EMI for LVDS provided by the invention is manufactured through being inserted into a composite magnetic layer, wherein magnetic powder is exerted on the composite magnetic layer. The composite magnetic layer is obtained through uniformly dispersing and fixing metal shielding material for shielding noise and magnet member with a powder form on a carrier with a plane shape thereby effectively restricting EMI and obtaining excellent signal transmission performance.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to flexible flat cables for low voltage differential signaling (LVDS). This LVDS is used to transmit signals from various digital home appliances. More particularly, the present invention relates to flexible planar cables for low voltage differential signaling capable of effectively reducing electromagnetic interference (EMI). This EMI occurs during signal transmission using flexible planar cables suitable for low-voltage differential signaling that transmit large amounts of data in a narrow space. Background technique [0002] In digital home appliances, all data is transmitted as electrical signals. In particular, in the case of high-performance digital home appliances, there is a need for a system capable of efficiently transferring large amounts of data between various components or various devices without loss of information. As described above, in digital home appliances, since signal transmission performance is d...
