This invention provides a wind
turbine blade
damage sensing system, including a sensing line, a sensing control loop, a sensing
relay, and a blade control PLC
system. The sensing line is tightly bonded along the inner edge of the blade to form a
closed loop. The control loop is connected to the
pitch DC 24V power supply via a 1P
circuit breaker and then connected to the
relay coil via the sensing line. The two sets of normally open contacts of the
relay are connected in parallel between the PLC input module and the power supply. If the sensing line breaks, the sensing line breaks synchronously, causing the relay to lose power, the contacts to open, the input module to switch to a low level, and triggering the PLC
system to send alarm and fault information to the main
control system. This invention solves the technical
blind spot of the prior art where blade damage cannot be detected in a timely manner. Through simple and reliable electrical connections and logic design, it realizes real-time monitoring and
signal transmission of blade damage, avoids secondary accidents caused by blindly resetting the wind
turbine, and significantly improves the safety and reliability of wind
turbine operation.
