Abstract

Disclosed is a solar cell manufacturing method in which a photoelectric converter (12) is formed that comprises multiple compartment elements (21, 21s) and in which the aforementioned compartment elements (21, 21s) that are mutually adjacent are electrically connected to one another. Within the aforementioned photoelectric converter (12), a compartment element (21s) with structural defects is specified, and by specifying the defect sites based on the distribution of resistance values obtained by measuring resistance values at multiple positions between mutually adjacent compartment elements (21, 21s), sites at which structural defects (R, A1, A2, A3) are present within the aforementioned compartment element (21s) are specified, and a bias voltage is applied to the sites at which the aforementioned structural defects (R, A1, A2, A3) are present to eliminate the aforementioned structural defects (R, A1, A2, A3).

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a solar cell and an apparatus for manufacturing a solar cell, and more specifically, to a method for manufacturing a solar cell and an apparatus for manufacturing a solar cell capable of detecting and repairing structural defects at low cost. [0002] This application claims priority based on Japanese Patent Application No. 2008-090567 for which it applied on March 31, 2008, and uses the content here. Background technique [0003] From the viewpoint of efficient utilization of energy, in recent years, solar cells have been widely and commonly used. In particular, solar cells using silicon single crystals are excellent in energy conversion efficiency per unit area. However, on the other hand, since solar cells using silicon single crystals use silicon wafers obtained by cutting silicon single crystal ingots, the production of ingots requires a lot of energy, resulting in high manufacturing cos...
