Problems solved by technology

According to international regulations, the ratio of hospital beds to nurses should be at least 1:0.4. However, there is a serious shortage of medical staff in many hospitals in China. Improving the work efficiency of medical staff and ensuring the quality of their work is an urgent problem to be solved.

Abstract

An interactive ward monitoring system based on the wireless communication mode comprises a plurality of personal digital assistant (PDA) devices, data terminals in front of ward beds, a duty room work station, a server and wireless routers, wherein the PDA devices and the data terminals in front of the ward beds are communicated with the server through the wireless routers; and a computer in the duty room work station is connected with the server through a cable network. The invention has the following advantages: the PDA devices are used to view and record information and the wireless local area network is used to receive and send information. The medical personnel do not require to carry a large number of scattered treatment recipes and copy records repeatedly, thus increasing the work efficiency of the medical personnel and reducing the mistakes caused by repeated recordings. The front of each ward bed is not provided with a traditional paper label, but provided with the special data display terminal, thus data can be sent and received through the wireless local area network and the medical personnel do not require to change the label manually. The interactive ward monitoring system can store mass data, provide precious materials for the hospital, facilitate the future medical evidence-giving and realize the interactive monitoring of patients for doctors and nurses.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a novel ward monitoring system, in particular to an interactive ward monitoring system for transmitting data information between doctors, nurses and patients through a wireless network. [0002] Background technique [0003] At present, paper materials are usually used in hospitals to record patient information, and the patient's nursing level and nursing content are indicated by paper labels pasted on the hospital bed. When the hospital bed changes patients, medical staff need to manually change the tags. This work is relatively trivial, and it is easy to make mistakes when the business is busy. If the paper label is accidentally lost, defaced or recorded incorrectly, it will bring trouble to the treatment of patients, and may even cause medical accidents. Nurses need to monitor the medical conditions of multiple patients at work, and usually need to carry a large number of paper materials such as treatment sheets and infusi...
