Problems solved by technology

[0011] In general, the housing of the connector is formed of inexpensive thermoplastic general-purpose resin, so once it is placed in the furnace for the above-mentioned brazing, it may be deformed due to high temperature
As a result, there is a problem that the reliability of the connector decreases
[0012] In recent years, the range of use of lead-free solder has been expanding due to environmental considerations, but the above-mentioned problems are particularly noticeable because of the high melting point of this lead-free solder
[0013] On the other hand, although it is considered to use a heat-resistant resin (for example, polyphenylene sulfide resin: PPS) for the housing of the connector, it cannot avoid the problem that the product cost will increase significantly compared with the general-purpose connector.

Abstract

The invention discloses a relay terminal member, a circuit structure using the same and an electronic unit. The relay terminal member includes: a plurality of relay terminals, each having a body unit through which an opening is formed and a terminal unit connected to a circuit substrate; and a coating unit covering the body unit. The coating unit has an aperture at the position corresponding to the opening. A terminal pin of a connector is inserted into the opening so that a part of the body unit around the opening is deformed toward the inner wall side of the aperture and brought into contact with the terminal pin.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a relay terminal component, a circuit structure including the relay terminal component, and an electronic unit. Background technique [0002] In recent years, circuit boards on which various electronic devices are mounted are mounted on, for example, automobiles that have achieved high functionality. Because connectors are much larger than other electronic components and occupy a large area on a circuit board, so-called surface mounting is particularly desirable. Therefore, in order to reduce the size and cost of a circuit structure including a circuit board, a surface mount connector in which the connector is mounted on the surface of the circuit board has been proposed (see, for example, Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2). [0003] By installing a surface-mount connector on one surface of the circuit board, electronic devices and other surface-mount connectors can be mounted on the other surface of the circuit ...
