Embodiment Construction

[0019] The present invention will be described in further detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0020] The invention releases the user's wireless link on the spare IMA group when the IMA group where the user's transmission bearer is located fails, waits for the user to initiate a cell update process, and reconfigures the user's wireless link resource in the cell update process.

[0021] In order to realize this function, the RNC needs to release the user wireless link and transmission bearer established on the faulty IMA group on the standby IMA group. After the user fails to synchronize uplink with the base station, the user initiates the cell update process, and the RNC reconfigures the user through the cell update process. The wireless link resources of the user are set up on the standby IMA group to establish the transmission bearer of the user, so that the user is always online.

Abstract

The invention provides a method for keeping a user on line during a fault of an inverse multiplexing for an asynchronous transfer mode (IMA) group of radio network controller (RNC) equipment. In the method, when the IMA group on which the transfer carrier of the user is positioned has the fault, the RNC releases the radio link and the transfer carrier of the user on a backup IMA group; a resourceentity on a network side is released, so that the user is asynchronous with the network side quickly and initiates a new cell updating process; in the cell updating process, the RNC reallocates radiolink resources to the user, establishes a new transfer carrier on the backup IMA group and informs the user to use new null allocation information; and at the moment, a service is recovered to be normal, and the user is kept on line all the time. In the method, when a principal IMA group has the fault or a single plate on which the principal IMA group is positioned has the fault, the transfer carrier of the user is reallocated in the backup IMA group by triggering the user to initiate the cell updating process, so that the releasing of a signaling plane to an on-line user is avoided, the usercannot be disconnected in the fault recovering process, and the service recovering delay is short.

Description

【Technical field】 [0001] The present invention relates to wireless network communication technology, in particular to a method for keeping users online when an RNC (Radio Network Controller, wireless network controller) equipment IMA (Inverse Multiplexing for ATM, ATM inverse multiplexing logical link) group fails . 【Background technique】 [0002] see figure 1 Shown is the Iub interface protocol stack structure. The Iub interface is an interface between RNC and Node B (base station), and is used to transmit signaling between RNC and Node B and data of a wireless interface. The Iub interface can be divided into the physical layer, the transport layer and the wireless network layer from the level; it can be divided into the wireless network control plane, the transmission network control plane and the user plane from the functional aspect. [0003] see figure 2 As shown, for the bottom layer of RNC and Node B, dual IMA group configuration is adopted. When the main IMA gro...
