Abstract

The invention provides an automated testing method and an automated testing system. A method for controlling test instruments comprises the steps that a client side sends test instrument configuration commands to a server; and the server calls corresponding application programming interfaces (API) of the corresponding test instruments from a loaded test instrument command package library according to the received test instrument configuration commands, and accomplishes the configuration of the corresponding test instruments through the API. By adopting the method, a client can control varioustypes of test instruments through universal control commands, and the test instrument commands are transparent to the client, so that the testing efficiency is greatly improved; and as the test instrument commands are transparent to the client, the security is also improved.
