Abstract

The invention provides an induction quenching method for a crawler belt plate of a crawler crane. The method comprises the following steps of: performing surface quenching treatment on a gearing face of the crawler belt plate by using a first induction heating device; and performing surface quenching treatment on bearing faces and guide faces of the crawler belt plate by using a second induction heating device, wherein the crawler belt plate comprises a bottom plate, the gearing face, and two bearing faces and two guide faces which are contacted with a supporting wheel and a guide wheel respectively, the first induction heating device comprises a first induction heating coil for heating the gearing face, and the second induction heating device comprises a second induction heating coil forheating the two guide faces and the two bearing faces. Compared with the prior art, the method has the advantages of performing surface quenching treatment on the gearing face, the guide faces and the bearing faces which are high abrasion parts of the crawler belt plate. By the method, effective quenching treatment can be performed on the gearing face, the bearing faces and the guide faces, and hardening layers which meet the requirements are formed on the gearing face, the bearing faces and the guide faces.
