Abstract

The invention provides a novel method for preparing high-purity isopropanol. According to the method provided by the invention, energy consumption can be greatly reduced while guaranteeing the purity of the isopropanol and the pollution on the environment is small. The method for preparing the high-purity isopropanol comprises the following steps of: (1) adding set amount of isopropanol raw material into a raw material pot and adding appropriate amount of special metal complexing agent, agitating and uniformly mixing; (2) then dehydrating the material which is treated in the step (1) by utilizing a 4-angstrom molecular sieve (a common adsorbent); (3) removing residual fine mechanical impurities in the isopropanol by utilizing a 5-micron polypropylene filtering core, removing micro organic impurities through utilizing a granular active carbon filtering core, then removing micro suspended materials through utilizing a 1-micron polypropylene filtering core and finally, removing metal ion impurities by utilizing a 0.0001-micron reverse osmosis membrane; (4) sampling and analyzing the material which is treated by the step (3); and (5) putting the finished products into a storage.
