Abstract
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for more effectively cooling an engine in a saddle riding type vehicle having an intake system disposed in front and at an upper side of the engine.
SOLUTION: A motor cycle 10 is provided which includes a head pipe 41, a main frame 42 extended rearward and downward from the head pipe 41, and an engine 13 disposed below the main frame 42 so that a cylinder shaft line 54 may be extended roughly parallel in a back-and-forth direction of the vehicle. A blocking plate 91 for blocking air flowing toward an intake device 60 is disposed in the front of the vehicle and an upper side of the engine 13. An air space 125 is formed among the blocking plate 91, main frame side covers 23L and 23R, and the main frame 42 to guide traveling air to the engine 13.
