Abstract

The invention relates to a method and a device for measuring an elastic modulus of a volume of polymer melt and belongs to the field of rheology processing of the polymer melt. The device comprises a mechanical part, an electric control part and an optical measurement part. The mechanical part comprises a rotating hand wheel, a ball screw linear guide rail mechanism, a support frame, a charging barrel with a pressure sensor, a temperature sensor and a heater, a charging rod, a sealed bottom plug with an exhaust structure, and a material rod limit mechanism consisting of a guide stop rod and ahorizontally arranged wire guide mechanism. The electric control part comprises a pressure display instrument connected with the pressure sensor, a temperature control instrument connected with the temperature sensor, an AD (analog-to-digital) acquisition card connected with the temperature control instrument and the pressure display instrument through communication cables, and a computer with the AD acquisition card. The optical part is a Michelson interferometer with reading accurate of 0.001mm. The method and the device have high integration degree and simple structure. The accurate measurement on the elastic modulus of the volume of the polymer melt can be realized.
