Abstract

The invention disclose an online capacitor monitoring system based on a partial discharge monitoring, and the system provided by the invention comprises a plurality of sensors, amplifiers and signal processing units, an AD (Analog-to-Digital) conversion unit, and a control process and display unit. A series of operations comprising amplification, filter, following, AD conversion, data analysis, data process and storage are carried out on sensing signals so that an automatic alarm is turned on when the fault of a capacitor is detected; and meanwhile, all operation data is sent to a remote monitoring computer. Based on the partial discharge monitoring, the invention provides a combined acoustic-electric detection system based on the partial discharge by combining the advantages of two detection methods, namely a partial discharge electric detection method and an acoustic detection method; the combined acoustic-electric detection system can be used for continuously monitoring the operation condition of the capacitor and diagnosing abnormalities in an early stage, so that the safety and reliability of electricity supply of an electric power system are guaranteed.
