Abstract

A temperature control system for a liquid, the temperature control system comprising two sets of temperature control elements arranged opposite each other and defining a temperature control zone between the two sets of temperature control elements. The conduit system within the temperature control zone defines a fluid flow path configured to have one or more first segments proximate to and thermally conductively associated with one of the two sets of temperature control elements, and one or more second segments adjacent to and thermally conductively associated with the other of the two sets of temperature control elements. The temperature control system may be used as a cooling liquid dispensing device or as a liquid cooling module or heating module in a system such as a drinking water or other beverage dispensing device.
