The data query system comprises an operation analysis system, a data query device, a metadata system and a data warehouse, wherein the data query device comprises a logic information acquiring unit, a syntactic analysis unit, a model translation unit and a data acquiring unit; the logic information acquiring unit obtains logic information from the operation analysis system; the syntactic analysis unit analyzes out each logic query information specific to the logic information; the model translation unit analyzes out at least one logic model metadatum specific to each logic query information, respectively searches corresponding physical model metadata in the metadata system, generates each physical query information according to the searched physical model metadata and generates physical information according to each generated physical query information; and the data query unit searches data in the data warehouse according to the generated physical information. By adopting the technical scheme disclosed by the invention, the problem of lower flexibility when the data are queried in the prior art is solved.
