Abstract

The invention relates to systems for acceleration of computer malware detection system. The system creates an antivirus base cache from an antivirus database which is used during operation of the scanning module. The cache consists of a multitude of independent files mapped to the memory, and a dynamic library containing executable code. During execution of the antivirus application, the system maps one or more data files of the antivirus cache into the memory without any further conversion, thereby accelerating launch of the antivirus application.
