The invention provides a reconstruction method of lightning three-dimensional images based on images and stereoscopic vision, which can obtain lightning three-dimensional space information by processing lightning images obtained at the same time in a plurality of stations. The method comprises the steps of calibrating a plurality of cameras keeping further distances under the same world coordinate system, obtaining inner parameter matrix and outer parameter matrix of the cameras; obtaining lightning images from the stations; using the improved K mean clustering method to extract the lightning part from the images; using the lightning grey gradient feature to further extract lightning outline; performing image matching by cross-correlation of the epipolar constraint and lightning outline curve slope; using a binocular stereoscopic vision measurement mathematical model to compute the space coordinates of lightning matching points so as to finish reconstruction of the lightning three-dimensional image; the method provides support for generation and development of the lightning.
