The invention relates to a processing technology of a steel rolling wire guide point, comprising the following steps of: firstly, making a blank by taking common alloy steel as base material; secondly, during machining on a base, cutting a region wherein the guide point is contacted with a wire frequently to guarantee form and position tolerance of a workpiece, cutting a region, which is required to be subjected to spray welding or be sprayed with wear-resistant material, with a depth of 1.5-1.7mm, and reserving depth dimension for spray welding or spraying of the wear-resistant material; thirdly, heating the region required to be subjected to spray welding or build up welding to an appropriate temperature by adopting an induction re-dissolution method, and carrying out hot spray welding or build up welding on the surface of the workpiece by blended wear-resistant and heat-resisting material to obtain a high-quality wear-resistant and heat-resisting material working surface; and fourthly, removing working allowance of the region subjected to spray welding or build up welding by adopting linear cutting, thus the workpiece meets a design dimensional requirement. According to the processing technology disclosed by the invention, common steel or alloy steel material with relatively lower price is taken as the base, cost of raw material is reduced, and the base material is easy to process; wear-resistant and heat-resisting performances of the working surface after being subjected to spray welding or spraying are high; rolling production efficiency is improved; and an easy-to-wear part of the workpiece can be subjected to surface induction re-dissolution again, and service life of a product is prolonged.
