Abstract

The invention discloses a digital video image stabilization method based on multi-resolution block matching and PI (Portion Integration) control. The digital video image stabilization method comprises the following steps of: obtaining a motion vector of a selected block through an improved diamond search algorithm, and obtaining a motion parameter of an overall motion vector by using least square estimation; then substituting the motion vector in a proportional-integral controller, namely a compensation unit of a core, so as to obtain a motion compensation vector; and further carrying out motion compensation on a fluctuation video sequence. With the adoption of the digital video image stabilization method disclosed by the invention, the fluctuation video sequence is subjected to fluctuation removal, so that the accuracy of the traditional diamond rapid search algorithm is improved, and the watching quality of a video is further improved. According to the acceleration of a chasing motion, the digital video image stabilization method can better keep a cashing component of a subjective motion and a subjective cashing motion of a photographer, so that the more accurate motion vector can be obtained through the estimation; the smaller stable state error is generated; and the fluctuation phenomena including translation, rotation, amplification and the like can be compensated according to demands.
