Abstract

The invention discloses a method and a system for measuring the resistivity of an underground medium by using a single coil, and belongs to the technical field of underground measurement. The measurement-method-based measurement system is designed. The method comprises the following steps of: sleeving a metal coil which serves as a probe on a drill collar, generating a high-frequency signal by using a frequency sweeping signal generator, transmitting the high-frequency signal into a transmitting coil through a 50-ohm coaxial line, measuring a reflection coefficient of the transmitting coil, and calculating the impedance of the transmitting coil and the resistivity of the medium, thereby obtaining the electromagnetic characteristics of the stratum. A relationship between an S parameter of the single coil and the medium resistivity of the stratum is simulated. The designed measurement system comprises the frequency sweeping signal generator, the transmitting coil, an S parameter measurer and a network analyzer. By the system, the medium resistivity of the underground stratum can be accurately measured, so that the system can be used for analyzing the storage information of oil gases, minerals and the like of the stratum.
