Abstract

The invention discloses an electrostatic coalescence crude oil dehydrator to solve problems of high water content in dehydrated crude oil and the like existing in present crude oil dehydrators. The crude oil dehydrator of the invention is characterized in that the inside of a tank (1) is divided in to two chambers; the first chamber is provided with an insulation support (5), first electrodes (70) and a first transformer (31); electrode members in the first electrodes are vertically-suspended cylindrical electrodes (7); each of the cylindrical electrodes (7) comprises a metal electrode and an insulation layer arranged on the outer surface of the metal electrode, the cylindrical electrodes (7) are arranged on a horizontal plane in a square grid lattice mode, each horizontally or vertically spaced cylindrical electrode is grounded, and the other ungrounded cylindrical electrodes are powered up; the second chamber is provided with a second electrode (9) and a second transformer (32); and the first transformer and the second transformer are pulse transformers and are arranged on the outside of the tank. The crude oil dehydrator is mainly used for dehydrating crude oil which is exploited from offshore and land oil fields, and has a high water content or is severely emulsified.
