Problems solved by technology

The location of the applicant unit is one of the areas with a high incidence of root rot. After the applicant unit organized manpower to carry out experiments, the method of adding lime water to the floating pool is not ideal, and the prevention and control effect is poor.
Another method of prevention and control must be found

Embodiment Construction

[0012] The applicant unit’s Dongshan Dabukan seedling breeding site in Maitreya County is a two-stage seedling breeding. The seeding started on February 12, 2011 and the seeding ended on the 16th. According to the experimental design and the experimental implementation plan, the pH value of each treatment was adjusted according to the experimental settings before the seedlings were thrown (April 13) or the pesticides were applied. The oxalic acid used is commercially available chemically pure, the purity of oxalic acid is greater than 95%, the application rate is 500g per standard pond, and the pH is 5.5.

[0013] An investigation was conducted on the occurrence of root rot on April 24. The survey results are as figure 1 Shown. Through nail cream·manganese zinc or adjusting the pH value of the bleaching pond solution, the incidence of root rot was significantly reduced (67-80% reduction). Prevention and control results such as figure 1 Shown.

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for preventing and controlling root rot during tobacco floating seedling by utilizing oxalic acid, comprising the following steps that: the oxalic acid is added to a floating pond liquid at the early stage of root rot; the potential of hydrogen (PH) value of the floating pond liquid is controlled to be 5-5.5; the oxalic acid is chemically pure and the purity of the oxalic acid is more than 95%; the usage amount in the floating pond liquid is about 500g / standard pond; and the oxalic acid is applied a day before one-section seedling plate cultivation and a day before two-section seedling casting cultivation. The method can effectively prevent and control the incidence rate of root rot during tobacco floating seedling and the preventing and controlling effect is more than 60%. Compared with other known medicines such as metalaxyl, Mn-Zn, polypeptide and the like, the oxalic acid has obvious and similar or slightly better preventing and controlling effect. The oxalic acid within the usage amount has no toxic or side effect to human beings, livestocks, fowls and environment and can be taken as the nutritional ingredient for the growth of tobacco seedlings. In addition, the price of the oxalic acid is low, so that the input cost is low, and the cost of the prevention and control is lowered and compared with the other known medicines, the oxalic acid is more economical.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a tobacco plant protection technology, specifically a method for preventing and controlling root rot in floating seedlings of tobacco by using oxalic acid. Background technique [0002] In the process of tobacco floating seedling cultivation, root rot often occurs before the tobacco seedlings are transplanted. About 50 days after one-stage seedling cultivation or two-stage seedling cultivation after throwing seedlings for about 10 days, root rot often occurs, which affects the survival rate of tobacco seedlings transplanted Co-infection with other diseases leads to a high rate of seedling abandonment, resulting in economic losses for seedling owners and tobacco farmers. [0003] It has been reported in the literature that the use of lime water to prevent and control root rot has a certain effect. There must be general applicability. The location of the applicant unit is one of the areas with a high incidence of root rot. Afte...
