The blast furnace coke sampling machine comprises a sampling tube, a microwave range finding system, a sampling control system and a compression ratio calculating system, wherein the sampling tube comprises a tube body and a movable baffle plate; and the tube body has two opposite end portions, and the movable baffle plate is arranged in the tube body to form an accommodation space with the tube end portions in order to accommodate a coke sample. The coke sampling method comprises the following steps: 1, providing the sampling tube; 2, utilizing the sampling control system to move the sampling tube a sampling distance in order to take the coke sample; 3, utilizing the microwave range finding system to measure the movement distance of the movable baffle plate; and 4, utilizing the compression ratio calculating system to calculate according to the sampling distance and the baffle plate movement distance in order to obtain the compression ratio of the coke sample.
