Abstract

The invention provides a cooling paste for a child and a preparation method of the cooling paste. The cooling paste is prepared by traditional Chinese medicine, namely, fructus evodiae. The preparation method comprises the following steps: crushing the fructus evodiae into fine powder; and concocting by seasame oil or vinegar. When in use, the cooling paste is applied to Yongquan acupoints of both feet of the child and then is fixed by medical gauze; and the cooling paste is properly changed once every 2 to 3 hours. According to the test and research, the cooling paste shows good curative effects of assisting the treatment on exogenous fever and headache of the child, and has no rubber-allergy symptom which is brought by other cooling pastes. The cooling paste is fast in cooling, safe and reliable, short in treatment period and free of pain, and can be widely accepted by adults and children.
