The special controlled release fertilizer for the apples comprises controlled release calcium fertilizer, controlled release iron fertilizer, 4 percent recoverable thermoplastic resin coated urea, 6 percent recoverable thermoplastic resin coated urea, diammonium phosphate and granular potassium sulphate, wherein the controlled release calcium fertilizer is prepared from calcium chloride, grass carbon and urea as raw materials by coating; and the controlled release iron fertilizer is prepared from ferrous sulfate, grass carbon and urea as raw materials by granulating according to the prior art. The invention further provides a preparation method and application of the special controlled release fertilizer for the apples.
