The method and the device for confirming the distribution of the user equipment are used for automatically identifying indoor signal covering state in each area, improving the identification efficiency and lowering labor cost and time cost. The method comprises that obtaining a measurement report (MR) uploaded by the user equipment (UE) with a geographic area to be analyzed in a preset time range, confirming a mean value of a primary common control physical channel received signal code power P-CCPCH RSCP of each UE and a mean value of the P-CCPCH RSCP of each geological raster in the preset time range according to the obtained MR, wherein the geological rasters are obtained by dividing the geographic area to be analyzed in advance.
