The medicine is prepared from the following ingredients by weight: 18.3-21.7 parts of sophora flavescens, 14.2-15.8 parts of common cnidium fruit, 17.8-22.3 parts of cortex phellodendri, 13.8-16.2 parts of radix stemonae, 14.2-15.8 parts of cortex dictamni, 4.3-5.7 parts of Chinese prickly ash, and 9.1-10.8 parts of alum. The medicine is simple and reasonable in composition, and has the functions of clearing heat and promoting diuresis, promoting blood circulation to arrest pain, removing blood stasis and dispersing phlegm, and regulating menstruation and dredging collaterals.
