The method comprises the following steps of: allocating node identifier information for each relay node, and obtaining a private IP address of each relay node according to the node identifier information of each relay node; and performing PPP (Peer-Peer Protocol) link negotiation according to the private IP address of the relay node, building an IP communication link between the two neighboring relay nodes, and performing data communication through the built IP communication links. The method realizes the TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol)-based network data transmission of the air interface, really realizes the protocol standardization, bears various wireless data services by IPs and performs the multi-hop transmission, avoids the inter-protocol conversion and reduces the system overhead.
