A vehicle battery assembly includes a housing defining a plenum having an inlet, and a plurality of battery cells disposed within the housing. Background technique [0002] Electric vehicles (eg, hybrid vehicles, plug-in hybrid vehicles, battery electric vehicles, etc.) include a battery pack having one or more battery cells electrically connected together. These battery cells store energy that can be used to move the vehicle. For example, the battery unit may be electrically connected to an electric motor that converts electrical energy into mechanical energy to move the vehicle, and converts the mechanical energy into electrical energy for storage in the battery unit.
