The traditional Chinese medicine of dahurian angelica root and ligusticum wallichii powder is produced by the following steps: taking 100g rhizoma typhoon, 200g dahurian angelica root, 200g ligusticum wallichii, 200g muscardine silkworm and 150g scorpion; grinding the ingredients above into fine powders; seiving the powders by a 100-mesh sieve; and mixing the ingredients to be uniform to keep in reserve. The traditional Chinese medicine of dahurian angelica root and ligusticum wallichii powder is taken, after a mixing with hot wine, for two times a day and 2g each time. Each treatment course takes 10 days. Effective rate of the traditional Chinese medicine of dahurian angelica root and ligusticum wallichii powder for treatment of trigeminal neuralgia is 95% or more, and cure rate is 80% or more.
