The invention provides compound medicine for treating headache. The compound medicine is prepared through the steps as follows: uniformly mixing the crude drugs in parts by weight: 10-30 parts of ligusticum wallichii, 10-30 parts of schizonepeta, 10-30 parts of Chinese parsnip root, 5-20 parts of notopterygium root, 3-20 parts of radix angelicae, 3-15 parts of asarum, 10-20 parts of radices ligustici sinensis, 3-20 parts of gastrodia elata, 10-20 parts of uncaria rhynchophylla, 10-20 parts of rhizoma anemarrhenae and 10-30 parts of radix scutellariae, and extracting TCM active components; decocting the mixture with water for 3 times taking 0.5-1 hour every time,combining the three-time decoction, filtering, and concentrating to form the thick paste with the temperature of 60 DEG C and the relative density of 1.25-1.3, drying the thick paste at the temperature of 50-60 DEG C, and crushing the thick paste into powder with 100 meshes; adding the crude drugs of 0.25-5 parts of diazepam and 0.05-1 part of vitamin B1 by weight to the extracted TCM active components, uniformly mixing and putting the mixture into a capsule, and performing sterilization to obtain the capsule product.
