A manual service disconnect device for an electric vehicle that includes an integrated pre-charge function. The manual service disconnect device includes a rotatable body having a non-conductive handle and a conductive shaft, a first terminal, a second terminal, a third terminal, a first wire electrically coupled to the third terminal, a second wire electrically coupled to the second terminal, and a resistor electrically coupled to the first wire and the first terminal.
