Abstract

The invention provides a signal processing device and a signal processing method thereof. The signal processing device proposed by the present invention includes: a modulator generates a base frequency digital signal according to an information-carrying digital signal. The fundamental frequency digital signal has a time-varying phase and amplitude defined by a series of complex data words. Each complex data word has an in-phase component and a quadrature component. A noise frequency shift modulator generates a noise frequency shifted digital signal according to the base frequency digital signal, so that quantization noise in the noise frequency shift modulator is attenuated by a spectrum zero of a noise transfer function. The spectral zero is determined according to a noise shift parameter corresponding to a selected output frequency selected from a plurality of output frequencies. A signal converter generates an analog signal carried by an analog carrier signal. The analog carrier signal has the selected output frequency.
