The application provides an
IQ imbalance closed-loop calibration
system and method, and relates to the technical field of communication.The
system comprises a
digital transmitter, a power
amplifier, a
low noise amplifier and a digital
receiver connected in sequence, and further comprises a digital correlator, a solving unit, a phase controller and an
IQ imbalance compensator.The power
amplifier and the
low noise amplifier are connected through a
coupling loop.The application adjusts the analog phase and the digital phase of the loop through the phase controller, combines the four-time cross-correlation operation of the digital correlator and the parameter joint
estimation of the solving unit, realizes the simultaneous calibration of the
IQ imbalance in the
digital transmitter and the digital
receiver, does not need a phase-shifting module, realizes the
phase switching by using the existing tuning
capacitor of the power amplifier or the
low noise amplifier, is simple in design, is close to the antenna port, is not easily affected by the internal
radio frequency module in terms of interference and
radiation, and is not easily affected in terms of calibration accuracy;the hardware implementation is easy, the complexity is low, the
estimation accuracy is high, and the stability is strong.
