delay compensation method for a composite
millimeter wave and
optical fiber transmission link. A phase shifting module with the
initial phase shifting amount being 0 and a dimmable
delay line with the initial
delay amount being tau 0 are additionally arranged at the middle end of a link, and the phase shifting module and the dimmable delay line are adjusted through the following method that a frequency sweeping
signal is generated at the near end, and the frequency sweeping
signal and a
signal to be transmitted are input into the phase shifting module together and then transmitted; obtaining a roughly measured composite
link time delay value tau r according to the link
transmission response; after the delay amount of the adjustable
optical delay line is adjusted to be tau 0-tau r, the steps are executed repeatedly, and a roughly measured
millimeter wave space link delay value tau true is obtained; performing whole-cycle
ambiguity resolution on the roughly measured
millimeter wave space
link time delay value tautrue by combining high-frequency carrier
waves to obtain an accurate millimeter wave space
link time delay value; and adjusting according to the phase shift amount of the
phase shift module. The invention also discloses a time delay compensation device for the composite millimeter wave and
optical fiber transmission link. According to the invention, the time delay value of each link in the composite link can be measured and correspondingly compensated.
