Benefits of technology

This patented technology allows for easy mixing of different materials together during making ceramic products such as cokes or kilns without requiring excessive laborious work. It achieves this by creating tiny particles called talcs which are mixed into a paste made up mostly aluminum oxide (Al2o3.x) and silica sand. These mixtures form an interconnected network structure between them, resulting in strong glue when applied onto surfaces like steel plates. By doing these steps correctly, we found out how they were able to improve durability and performance characteristics of ceramics while reducing costs associated therewith.

Problems solved by technology

This patented technical problem addressed in this patents relates to finding ways to improve the durability and impact resistance of ceramic materials such as firebrick walls while reducing environmental concerns associated with their use.

Embodiment 1

[0025] A glaze used for coke oven door lining bricks and its application method. Mix 50~55wt% spodumene fine powder, 20~25wt% cordierite fine powder and 25~30wt% borax fine powder evenly to prepare the glaze for coke oven door lining bricks, pack it into bags for later use .

[0026] The usage method of the glaze for the coke oven door lining brick is:

[0027] Step 1, mix the glaze and water used for the coke oven door lining brick according to the mass ratio of 1: (0.45~0.5), stir for 0.4~0.6h, and make a slurry;

[0028] Step 2. Spray the slurry prepared in Step 1 on the surface of the coke oven door lining brick with a spray gun, and the coating thickness is 0.5~1mm;

[0029] Step 3: Close the furnace door and keep warm at 950°C~1100°C for 1~3h, then the glaze can be formed on the surface of the coke oven door lining brick.

[0030] The glaze surface generated by this embodiment has no cracks, and the glaze does not flow.

Embodiment 2

[0032] A glaze used for coke oven door lining bricks and its application method. Mix 55~60wt% spodumene fine powder, 15~20wt% cordierite fine powder and 25~30wt% borax fine powder evenly to prepare the glaze for coke oven door lining bricks, pack it into bags for later use .

[0033] The using method of the glaze for the coke oven door lining brick is the same as that in Example 1.

[0034] The glaze surface generated by the present embodiment has no cracks, and the glaze does not flow.

Embodiment 3

[0036] A glaze used for coke oven door lining bricks and its application method. Mix 60~65wt% spodumene fine powder, 15~20wt% cordierite fine powder and 20~25wt% borax fine powder evenly to prepare the glaze for coke oven door lining brick, bag it for later use .

[0037] The using method of the glaze for the coke oven door lining brick is the same as that in Example 1.

[0038] The glaze surface generated by the present embodiment has no cracks, and the glaze does not flow.

Abstract

The invention relates to a glaze for a furnace door lining brick of a coke furnace and an application method thereof. The technical scheme is as follows: the glaze for the furnace door lining brick of the coke furnace is prepared by uniformly mixing 50-65wt% of spodumene fine powder, 15-25wt% of cordierite fine powder and 20-30wt% of borax fine powder, and is filled into bags for later use. The application method of the glaze for the furnace door lining brick of the coke furnace comprises the following steps: firstly, preparing materials from the glaze for the furnace door lining brick of the coke furnace and water in a mass ratio of 1: (0.45-0.5); agitating for 0.4-0.6 hour to prepare material slurry; secondly, spraying the prepared material slurry on the surface of the furnace door lining brick of the coke furnace by using a spraying gun and coating for the thickness of 0.5-1mm; and closing a furnace door and keeping the heat under the condition of 950-1100 DEG C for 1-3 hours to generate the glaze on the surface of the furnace door lining brick of the coke furnace. The glaze for the furnace door lining brick of the coke furnace and the application method thereof have the advantages of low cost, simple procedures, convenience for construction and low glaze forming temperature; and the prepared glaze has good carbon deposition resistance and thermal shock resistance, and is applicable to the furnace door of the coke furnace.
